CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CAROLERS!!!
The parishioners of Sacred Heart Church, with the support of Fr. Freddy, the Parish Priest, clergy and nuns and the blessings of our Bishop Camillo, formed a group under the leadership of Walter Braganza to go serenading during the month of Advent to garner funds for the building of our new Cathedral in Awali.
The singers comprising the young and not too young members of our parish, sacrificed their time & leisure right from the start of November and through the month of December, for two consecutive years 2014 and 2015, relentlessly singing daily in different clubs and houses.
They should be truly affirmed for their fervor, zeal, wholehearted commitment and dedication to this cause, despite their busy work schedules, family, housework and other obligations. Even the little ones gave in their best without any dissent or bemoaning the late hours. Most of the members not only gave their time and talent but also contributed generously in terms of money.
We would also like to thank all our benefactors for the warmth they displayed welcoming the Carolers into their homes enthusiastically, enjoying and applauding their every performance. Thank you, dear ones, for your support and encouragement for the last two years in a row. May God bless you all.
We are happy to inform you that the Carolers collected a sum of BD 5250/- in the last two years.
